Who is the fastest Den in Sussex County? Let's find out November 5th at Redden State Forest.  Test your Den skills while pulling the Pack Chariot around an obstacle course, the fastest time wins the day!

Pinewood Derby is held in January each year of the Saturday following the 3rd Wednesday of the month! Do you have what it takes to make the fastest, within the rules, derby car in Pack 95? If so, build a car and lets race!! The top three finishers from each Den move on to the Sussex District Derby hosted by Pack 95 in March!

The space derby is a racing event for Cub Scouts in the Boy Scouts of America that is similar to the pinewood derby car race.[1] Cub Scouts (the young-age division of the Boy Scouts) race miniature balsa wood gliders that are propelled by a rubber band and propeller. During the 60s, this was also known as the "rocket derby"

The raingutter regatta is a racing event for Cub Scouts in the Boy Scouts of America that is the sailboat equivalent of the pinewood derby. The sailboat kit consists of a seven-inch (178 mm) long balsa wood hull, a 6-1/2 inch mast, plastic sail, plastic rudder, and metal keel. Within the basic design rules, Scouts are free to paint and decorate their sailboats as they choose. Modifications for speed include the placement of the keel and rudder and the size, shape and location of the sail. A catamaran is an exceptionally fast design, although this modification is not allowed in all races.

The boats are raced in a standard rain gutter that is ten feet long, placed on a table or saw horses, and filled to the top with water. The boats are propelled by blowing on the sail, either directly or through a drinking straw; the boat cannot be touched with hands or the straw. The first boat to reach the end of the gutter is the winner. The overall winner is determined by an elimination system.

Camp Outs

We have multiple camping opportunities for our scouts as camping is a big part of Cub Scouting

Blue and Gold Banquet! This is our annual banquet to honor our scouts transitioning to Troop 95! We also recognize all of our scouts with special awards they have earned, thank our leaders and celebrate our Pack's achievements for the year! We also take a trip down memory lane with memory boards and presentations from our scouting community.
